New Game, New Progressive Jackpot And More Newness For This Promotion

We’re not sure if you’ve noticed, but in the last few weeks Coral has had a pretty big revamp. Despite it always being one of our favourite online casinos, it was getting really dated looking. And if we’re honest, it was always a little hard to navigate.

But no more! It’s recently gotten a sweet new makeover and now it’s much more pleasing to browse the promotions and it’s easier to find the games you want to play.

And while we were checking out all of our old favourite promotions on the new look site, we discovered that one of Coral’s newer promotions has got its very own revamp.

We told you about Super Jackpots for the first time back at the end of March. It’s really a great idea. Basically, you have a chance of triggering shared progressive jackpots when you play any of the slots games linked to Super Jackpots. It’s pretty perfect because it means you get the chance for humongous prizes, but you also get to choose the game that suits you best. You’re not shoe-horned into one particular game just because it has a juicy jackpot. Although, if we’re honest, that’s not the worst reason to play! Just this way it’s a lot easier to find something you really enjoy.

How has Super Jackpots changed?

The two main ways Super Jackpots has changed is that it has added a new progressive jackpot to the mix and there’s also a new game you can play for a chance to trigger the jackpots.

The new progressive jackpot is simply called Super Jackpot. It joins the Super Daily Jackpot and the Must Go Jackpot, which is always hit before it reaches £2,500. The Super Jackpot is more like a regular progressive jackpot insofar as there’s no time or amount limit to determine when it’ll blow. And that means that it can get really, really big before it’s triggered. We like the sound of that.

Speaking of jackpots, the trigger-by time of the Super Daily Jackpot has also changed. It’s now 19:00 UK time, which is a good bit earlier than the original 21:30 trigger time. This doesn’t really change much, except that it means players are encouraged to play pre-dinner rather than post-dinner. Could be a fun way to spice up your commute back home after a long day at work…

And last but not least, there’s a new game you can play in order to be in with a chance of winning one of the Super Jackpots. The new game is called Treasure Mine. It’s one of those rare games that has an absolutely brilliant storyline that really hooks you in from the start. In this game, you follow Redbeard the miner. The goal is to triumph over a somewhat wimpy looking dragon to get to the treasure he’s guarding. It’s full of multipliers, wilds and combination wilds. And our favourite bit is you can win up to 1,000x your wager. Imagine!

In case you need a refresher, the other Super Jackpot games are Three Musketeers, Gems Gone Wild, Mystery Reels and Reel Heist. So you’ve plenty to choose from.

Do the new changes make Super Jackpots better?

In a word, yes! Who doesn’t like another chance to win big and another way to trigger progressive jackpots. The one thing we’re a little on the fence about is the trigger-by time change. It doesn’t make that much of a difference to us, but if you’re the type of person who likes to play in the evening, it might not suit you to focus your play in the late afternoon/early evening instead. But hey, on balance, we’re liking the changes.
