Joining the loyalty club is pretty straightforward. You’ve got to reach points targets and deposits targets for each calendar month.

When they say calendar month, what they mean exactly is the four week period starting on the 1st of each calendar month.

The novel thing about this loyalty program is that you can earn points both on and offline. Of course, for your wagers to count offline, you’ve got to use your Coral Connect card in-store.

We know the majority of you gals are staunch slots fans, but if you like to dabble in other pursuits, it might interest you to know that you can earn points by wagering on sports, as well as casino games.

Here’s what you can earn every time you wager £10:

  • 2 points for playing slots, scratchcards or bingo
  • 3 points for sports multiple bets
  • 2.5 points for sports single bets
  • 1 point for all other casino games

The Coral Priority level you’re at determines how many points you have to earn in each calendar month:

  • Bronze players have to earn at least 1,500 points
  • Silver players have to earn at least 2,500 points
  • Gold players have to earn at least 12,500 points

Like we said before, you also have to reach deposit targets each calendar month to get into Coral Priority. And they also differ depending on the VIP level.

  • Bronze players have to deposit at least £1,000
  • Silver players have to deposit at least £2,000
  • Gold players have to deposit at least £4,000

If you do the maths on the minimum requirements for the Bronze level, that means you’ll have to spend at least £7,500 playing slots to qualify for this scheme and then deposit £1,000 too. It’s a serious chunk of change, so only really relevant to the big slots spenders among us.

You might have noticed that we haven’t put in anything about Platinum here. That’s because Platinum is an invite-only VIP level. Coral is a bit cagey about what you need to apply but we’re guessing you’ll have to be a super highroller to get in.

Where can I see my Coral Priority points total?

Just head to the Coral website and you’ll see the VIP tab to the very right of the screen. Once you’re logged in, you can see your points total for the current calendar month.

The totals are updated daily, so the figure you’ll see is accurate as of midnight UK time the previous day.

Can I be upgraded or downgraded?

Well yes, of course you can. That’s kind of the whole point of a loyalty program!

But moving on, no silly questions here.

New customers are added to the Coral Priority program every Monday. But upgrades and downgrades only take place once a month, at the start of the month.

If you don’t hit your points targets, the maximum you can be downgraded in one calendar month is one tier.
